DIYs to try

These DIYs are wacky! Try them yourself!

I am a huge fan of DIY videos. The wilder the better. So I decided to make a list of my favorites. Here you go! And if you're dying of boredom during this pandemic, you now have some fun ideas to try at home.

  • Sock vase. I don’t know about you guys, but I think having a cement covered sock as a vase is a surefire way to become the coolest person in your area*! Watch this video to learn how to make one for your home
*no I don’t. Sorry.

  • Milkshake candle. I’m 90% sure it’s supposed to be a milkshake. Or maybe a radioactive pint? Whatever it is, it’s actually kind of cute.

  • Clock frame. Once again, I can only guess what this actually is. But it looks neat (maybe?). I had to speed up the video because it was wayyy too long and kinda boring honestly.

  • Glitter candle holder. This one is fun and something I might actually make myself, so I hope y’all like it too.

  • Fake flowers. These are so fun and cute. Definitely going to make these (someday). Also might be fun to do with kids?

Here’s my top five DIY videos right now. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
Disclaimer: I didn’t make these videos, just edited some of them to make them shorter.

Happy Y’alloween!

What is Y’alloween?

Y’alloween is a fun, Christian alternative to the archaic, rude, sin-promoting Satanic holiday, Halloween.

Rather than encouraging children to beg candy off strangers and promoting gluttony, Y’alloween helps teach our youth to appreciate American culture and history by celebrating the backbone of our nation, cowboys. By teaching our children about the greatest heroes of our country, we can instill some more family- and faith-friendly values. Y’alloween hopes to spread the word about the greatest men and women of the world such as Jesse James, Butch Cassidy, Pearl Hart, and other amazing and wonderful cowboys and gals.

To teach your kids about Y’alloween, view the presentation here

To spread the word, you can print up the following flyer and post it around your community.

Have a blessed day!

Rivendell ❤️

Rivendell is by far my favorite place in Lord of the Rings. I love the mountains and waterfalls and especially the elves. If I could live anywhere, it would definitely be there. This was by far my most frustrating painting, as I wanted it to be perfect. It took me a day just to sketch, and another two to paint it. I revised it so many times lol I lost track. But it’s definitely my favorite, followed closely by Seagull Shorts.
